Dragonheir: Silent Gods Launches Major Reboot Version, Making a Comeback on Mobile

Dragonheir: Silent Gods is set to make its grand return to mobile platforms with a substantial new Reboot Version, launching tomorrow. Following its removal from digital stores after its initial release in 2023, Tencent is determined to give the D&D-inspired RPG a fresh start. The revamped version of Dragonheir aims to offer a more streamlined progression system, unifying hero leveling while minimizing grinding time.

The combat mechanics have also been significantly overhauled, with adjustments made to the elemental strategy to create a more tactical gameplay experience. Additionally, summon costs have been lowered, accompanied by a more transparent pity system that should enhance the player experience. As part of the lead-up to the launch on June 10th, a Pre-Summon Event has been introduced.

Players can earn up to 250 free summons by completing simple tasks, which includes a guarantee of three legendary heroes. Furthermore, an exciting feature allows players to lock in their top 100 summons for better early-game team building. The success of this relaunch is uncertain.

It has the potential to either excel or fall short, depending on whether the essential gameplay loop captures players’ interest. For many who were previously turned off by aspects such as excessive grinding and unclear summon mechanics, the focus on new pre-launch events may not be compelling enough to draw them back in.
