Summoners War is making its grand return to the global esports arena with the ninth annual World Arena Championship (SWC2025), and this year’s competition promises to be the most thrilling yet. The event is set to feature expanded regional tournaments, international qualifiers, and a highly anticipated finale in the enchanting city of Paris.
The SWC2025 season is officially underway, with preliminary competitions taking place in July and August. Participants can now register via the Summoners War: Sky Arena event page until June 30th at midnight PT.
Players who excelled in World Arena Seasons 32 and 33 will earn spots in the preliminaries across three major regions: Europe, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific. The Asia-Pacific region will further split into four competitive sub-regions: Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Others, each contributing eight contenders to the initial phase.
The preliminaries will employ a double-elimination format with best-of-five matchups, determining which players advance to the Regional Cups. The excitement continues offline, commencing with the European competition on September 20th.
Following that, the Americas Cup will take place in São Paulo on October 11th, and the Asia-Pacific Cup will round off the regional tournaments in Busan on October 18th. Each live event will send three finalists to the concluding World Finals.
For players not included in the main brackets, there are additional opportunities to join the competition through Open Qualifier events in France and Hangzhou, offering three more competitors a direct path to the Finals—one from Paris and two from China. The championship will culminate in Paris on November 1st, where the top twelve Sky Arena summoners will compete in a single-elimination bracket for the title of SWC2025 World Champion.
Whether you’re a participant or a spectator, this promises to be a memorable event for all fans of Summoners War.
