Marvel Contest of Champions is preparing for an exciting update inspired by Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps. This new content, set to be released in June, includes fresh characters and a month-long celebration of LGBTQ+ heroes in honor of Pride Month. Starting June 4th, players can dive into The Fantastic Force Saga, which encourages them to explore the Battlerealm in search of Research Grants. These collectibles will allow players to unlock a 7-Star Mister Fantastic, enhancing their roster significantly.
On June 11th, the action escalates with the Vaults of Variant side quest. Players will work to stabilize Reed Richards’ latest multiverse experiments and can expect unpredictable encounters and unique rewards throughout its duration until July 9th. The ongoing Eidol storyline also gains momentum with the introduction of Solvarch, known as the Wolf of the Stars. He will be available from June 4th to October 8th, adding depth to the narrative as it investigates the enigmatic Founders of The Battlerealm.
In addition to these events, June marks a celebration of Pride with the introduction of Runaways heroes Nico Minoru on June 12th and Karolina Dean on June 26th. The Runway Ready solo event throughout the month allows players to earn rewards and Pride-themed profile pictures simply by engaging in battles. Additionally, players can look forward to a rework of Captain Britain joining the Double Track Event on June 4th and a special login calendar for Ironheart starting on June 10th. Lastly, the Heat Wave Sale, featuring exclusive deals, including a 7-Star Human Torch, will kick off on June 27th.
