Eevee Returns for July’s Community Day Classic Event in Pokémon Go

Pokémon Go is set to bring back Eevee for the July Community Day Classic event, which will take place over the weekend of July 5th and 6th. This fan-favorite Pokémon will be featured prominently, appearing more frequently in the wild from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.

Trainers will have a chance to encounter Shiny Eevee during this time frame. Any Eevee caught or hatched during the event will have access to the Charged Attack Last Resort.

Players can evolve Eevee into any of its eight evolutions by July 12th at 10:00 PM local time to receive exclusive event moves. These moves include Scald for Vaporeon and Psyshock for Sylveon, adding unique capabilities to your team.

In addition to the increased availability of Eevee, there will be special evolution requirements during this event. For instance, the buddy distance needed for evolving Eevee into Espeon and Umbreon will be reduced, and only seven hearts are required to evolve into Sylveon.

Trainers can also enjoy bonuses such as 1/4 Egg Hatch Distance, three-hour Lure Modules, and three-hour Incense, along with the opportunity to take snapshots for a surprise reward. A Special Research ticket priced at $1.99 will unlock additional rewards, including Premium Battle Passes, Rare Candy XL, and encounters with Eevee and its Evolutions, some featuring a unique background.

Players who log in during the event will also participate in Timed Research throughout the week, providing extra opportunities to catch Eevee with enhanced Shiny odds. Looking ahead to August, Community Day voting is returning.

On June 7th and 8th, players can vote for which Pokémon, from a selection that includes Frillish, Wimpod, Rookidee, and Lechonk, will headline on August 30th. Each candidate will have a featured move if chosen.

Make sure to prepare for the event and enjoy the festivities!
