The Roland-Garros eSeries by Renault Final Stage is set to begin on May 24th, showcasing an exciting culmination of this year’s tournament. Eight remarkable finalists have been confirmed, including reigning champion Alessandro Bianco, who will face off against seven other skilled competitors at the prestigious event. This year’s competition saw an impressive turnout, with 515,000 players from 221 countries participating in an astounding 9.5 million matches of Tennis Clash.
The eight finalists include Hizir Balkanci, Anyndia Lestari, Omer Feder, Adjua Thembisa Boucher, Eugen Mosdir, Bartu Yildirim, and Samuel Sanin Ortiz. They will compete in the Roland-Garros Tenniseum, promising an exhilarating showdown. To amplify the excitement, the finalists will be divided into two teams, each captained by a tennis legend.
Former ATP world number six Gilles Simon, who competed in last year’s finals, will lead one side, while the other will be captained by former Wimbledon champion Marion Bartoli. The competition format will see teams face each other in a series of matches, with winners advancing to the Winner Bracket. Those eliminated will have a chance to redeem themselves in the Loser Bracket, where the stakes are high, and only one player will emerge as champion.
The event will be hosted by Samuel Etienne, a well-known French personality and Twitch streamer, along with esports expert Quento and former Tennis Clash number one Benny (GP365). The tournament aims to capture the spirit of Roland-Garros, featuring a replica of the iconic Philippe-Chatrier court and custom outfits. An audience of 250 spectators is anticipated, and the matches will be broadcast live on Samuel Etienne’s Twitch channel and the Roland-Garros YouTube channel, providing fans with interactive viewing experiences and engaging discussions surrounding tennis and eTennis.
