Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Reintroduces Mid Season Cup in Riyadh for the 2025 Esports World Cup

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is set to return to Riyadh for the 2025 Esports World Cup with the Mid Season Cup, promising another thrilling event and a staggering prize pool of $3 million. This competition underscores the growing commitment of the EWC to mobile esports, with plans for the MSC to feature again at the 2026 event. The tournament will commence with the Wildcard stage from July 10th to 13th during the EWC Festival, offering teams that have not yet qualified a final opportunity to secure their spots in the main competition. Following this, the official MSC tournament will take place from July 23rd to August 2nd, showcasing 16 of the top Mobile Legends squads from around the world.

This year’s format will retain its successful structure, beginning with a group stage featuring two double-elimination brackets of eight teams each. This will be followed by a single-elimination playoff round for the final eight. In addition to the impressive prize pool, the tournament MVP will receive a bonus of $10,000. Global qualifiers are already in motion, with teams from leading regions such as MPL Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, and LATAM actively competing for their places.

Some champions from regions like Cambodia, Türkiye, and Myanmar have already secured their qualifications. The North America Challenger Tournament concluded with BloodThirstyKings earning their spot. The MSC x EWC China Qualifier, along with the MSC Wildcard in July, will round out the teams in the tournament. Last year, Malaysia’s Selangor Red Giants shocked everyone by clinching the title after an impressive playoff performance.

As anticipation builds for this year’s competition, fans eagerly await to see who will take home the coveted cup.
